Regularly Scheduled Meditation Groups Away from the Temple
Central Coast Buddhist Meditation Group: meets regularly on Wednesday evenings in the Morro Bay Library meeting room, from 7-9pm, except for the first Wednesday of the month when the library room is unavailable. On the second Wednesday of the month Rev. Seikai or Rev. Leon visits the group; on these days, meditation instructions for newcomers begin at 6pm, with the regular group meeting following at 7pm. VENTURA COUNTY MEDITATION GROUP:
meets in Ventura at the Ventura Avenue Adult Center at 550 N. Ventura Ave., at the corner of Center Street and Ventura Ave. Meetings are held on the first three Thursdays of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Meditation instructions are offered at 5:30pm for newcomers. On the first and third Thursdays of the month Rev. Master Phoebe and/or the other monks visit the group, offer meditation instruction at 5.30pm and give a Dharma talk following meditation. For information, please call Asha at 805-653-1132.
