Three Day Retreat for Segaki

 March 13 – 16

The festival of the Feeding of the Hungry Ghosts is the time when we especially remember all those who died in circumstances where it was hard to know that one is loved.  During the retreat we prepare generous offerings of food and decorations to show that love is there, always offered, patiently waiting.

The retreat will include sitting and walking meditation periods, food preparations and ceremony rehearsal, as well as Dharma teaching and discussions and formal meals.  Please call or email to reserve a place.

Dedication of Merit

 April 24 —  April 27

For the benefit of all beings we offer three days to the practice of meditation and harmonious living together.  We will study various ways of offering merit and end the retreat with the Lotus Ceremony, invoking 83 Buddhas to show their great compassion in the world.

The retreat will include sitting and walking meditation periods, Dharma teaching and discussions and formal meals.  Emphasis is placed on being quiet and minimizing talking outside of the discussion periods, allowing meditation to deeply penetrate our days.  Please call or email to reserve a place.
